Last updated: September 6, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Student Toolkit handles information when you use the website.

1. Information used for accounts

If you choose to create an account, Student Toolkit uses Supabase Authentication to process information needed for your account, such as your email address and authentication credentials. You may also provide a display name.

Student Toolkit does not ask for unnecessary sensitive personal information through the study tools.

2. Information stored in your browser

Some tools use your browser's local storage so your settings and study information can remain available on the same device. Depending on the feature, this can include your theme preference, timetable entries and exam countdown information.

Browser storage can be removed by clearing your browser's site data.

3. Third-party services

Student Toolkit uses third-party services such as Supabase for authentication and the official NCERT website for textbook links. Those services have their own privacy policies and terms.

4. Advertising and cookies

Student Toolkit may display advertising in the future. If Google AdSense or another advertising service is enabled, third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses or similar technologies to serve and measure advertisements.

Google states that publishers should disclose the use of advertising cookies and explain how users can control personalized advertising. You can learn more through Google's information about how it uses data on partner sites and Google Ads Settings.

Important: Advertising may not yet be active on the website. This section is written so the policy remains transparent if advertising is enabled.

5. Children's privacy

Student Toolkit is intended as a general educational resource for students. We do not intentionally request information from children for advertising purposes. If advertising or other services are enabled, applicable age and privacy requirements will be followed.

6. External links

Student Toolkit contains links to external websites. We do not control those websites or their privacy practices. Please review the privacy policy of an external service before providing it with personal information.

7. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated when the website's features or third-party services change. The date at the top of this page will be updated when material changes are made.
